The Flag Helper

Every week at school, Lex is assigned a "job" for the week. Last week, she was the paper passer outer. Today, she told me that she's the "flag helper." As the flag helper, she stands in front of her class with her two teachers and her partner "flag helper" and helps everyone say the Pledge of Allegiance. She was so excited to tell me that she's the "flag helper" but also said "Mommy, it's EMBARASSING standing in front of everyone." Oh boy. Kindergarten-coolness already!
